Two days ago this weighty…well Tome really is the only word for it… arrived in the post. It’s the result of a Kickstarter project that turned out to be a huge success story, aiming for a goal of $18,400 dollars and raising an amazing $132,538. That meant that the original project - to publish art works on the theme of Vampirism - grew way bigger than expected, with extra pages, an added audio CD and even bigger page size (check out the size comparison with a copy of Storm Dogs). I went for the pledge that netted me an original sketch by Ben Templesmith, which frankly is worth the money on its own. Here are photos of a select few pages, but really the whole book is beautiful.
